Association comments: Match was protested by Buckley Park who stated the score in the Ladies set was 3-6 not 4-6, making the match as 27 games all draw. The protest was considered by the Match and Permit Committee. Given the conflicting details of the set provided by the two teams, the Committee decided it could not conclusively determine which score was correct. Given both teams agree Moomba Park either drew or won the match, they were awarded 2 points. The remaining 2 points are in dispute. The Committee decided not to award those points to either team and to not count the disputed set for percentage purposes. As a result, 2 points were awarded to Moomba Park and 0 points to Buckley Park. Both Clubs were advised that should a similar situation occur in future, the teams should ring a Match and Permit Committee member on the night for a decision. In this situation the Committee member would most likely have instructed that the disputed set be replayed.
